Conceal Textured Caulk delivers performance that’s hard to see. Conceal’s 7 colors blend in with the most popular stains used on log homes, and Conceal’s light texture simulates the natural roughness of wood. The combination of color and texture makes it hard to see where the caulking ends and the logs begin. Instead, they just blend together.

All colors available in 10.5oz. tubes
Single Tube $7.95

Some Notes on Joint Design
Caulking joint width should be between 1/4" and 2" and 4 times the anticipated movement. For joints 1" or more, the depth should be 3/8" to 1/2". The depth of joints less than 1" wide should be half the width but no less than 1/4". (Caulking joint depth should be 1/4"-1/2".)

Caulk Estimator
Extrusion amounts per 10.3 fl.oz. tube, expressed in linear feet (meters).

Joint Depth by Joint Width
Joint Depth
1/8" (3.2mm) 1/4" (6.4mm) 3/8" (9.5mm) 1/2" (12.7mm)
1/8" (3.2mm) 96' (29.3m) 48' (14.6m) 36' (11m) 24' (7.3m)
1/4" (6.4mm)  48' (14.6m) 24' (7.3m) 18' (5.5m) 12' (3.7m)
3/8" (9.5mm)  32' (9.8m) 16' (4.9m) 12' (3.7m) 8' (2.4m)
1/2" (12.7mm)  24' (7.3m) 12' (3.7m) 9' (2.7m) 6' (1.8m)

Take the total number of linear feet that you wish to caulk and divide it by the lineal footage of the size of caulking bead located on Caulk Estimator.    Example:  If you need to fill an area that takes a 1/4" x 1/4" bead of caulk and you have 2300 linear feet to fill.

2300' ÷ 24'= 95.83 or 96 tubes of caulking then divide the number of tubes by the number of tubes in a case.  96 ÷ 12 = 8 cases. You might want to order extra tubes just in case?

To Convert Gallons of Caulking or Chinking to Cases
10.5 oz. size tube = Total gallons _____ divided by .082 = _____ cases/tubes.
30 oz. size tube = Total gallons _____ divided by 2.34 = _____ cases/tubes.

To Convert Gallons to Tubes: Total gallons _____ X 128(oz.) = _____ Total oz. Then divide the Total oz. by the tube size:10.5(oz.) or 30(oz.). = The Number of Tubes______________.

To figure cases:
10.5(oz.) =_____ No. of tubes divided by 12 (cs.) = _____ Cs
30(oz.) = ______ No. of tubes divided by 10 (Cs) = _____ Cs

Note: Not all brands come in these sizes and the # of tubes per case may very

You can triple the amount of coverage for a 30oz tube and it comes in case sizes of 10 tubes per case

Save time, money and product!
The Caulk Saver allows you to save your leftover caulk, adhesives, silicones, glues, cements or any product that comes in a similar type container or tube to have easy access when you need it again.

After 30 years of using caulk for home and Business, I found:
1.) Every time I use caulk, I needed to find something to penetrate the caulk membrane.
2.) When there is caulk leftover, I needed to find something with which to seal it in order to use the caulk again. This might be a piece of wire, a nail, screw, dowel, or something similar.
3.) Unfortunately, when I go back to use the caulk, it has usually hardened. Whatever I used to seal the caulk gets stuck and becomes difficult (if not impossible) to pull out of the neck (stem). Many times I end up throwing the container away, wasting the leftover caulk.

What is it?
The Caulk Saver is a unique tool designed to: a) puncture the membrane of caulk at the base of the neck of the caulk tube container; and b) to seal the neck (stem) of the container to preserve the caulk for the next use. Although this is called “The Caulk Saver”, it can be used with any product that comes in a similar tubular container design.

How does it work?
After cutting the neck of a caulk tube, the 3-inch by 1/8-inch stem of The Caulk Saver is inserted into the hole in the stem of the tube. By pushing it down, it penetrates the caulk membrane. The Caulk Saver is then removed. This allows the caulk to flow into the stem of the tube.

After using the caulk, the Caulk Saver is placed back into the stem of the container and pushed down to the plastic threads. The Caulk Saver is then turned clockwise into the stem of the tube, 3 or 4 times only, until the plastic threads seals the stem. This seals the tube until the next time the caulk is needed.

The next time the caulk is used, even if it has been left to harden in the stem of the tube, simply unscrew it. The threads cut through the hardened caulk, once again, allowing the caulk to flow into the stem of the tube.

The Caulk Saver can be used over and over again.
