Drione Insecticide dust: Pyrethrins, Silica Gel, Drione Insecticide (a.i. - Pyrethrins 1.0%, Piperonyl Butoxide 10.0%, Amorphous Silica Gel 40.00%): A non-staining and relatively odorless insecticide dust that can be used in homes, institutions, food plants, granaries, and also on dogs and cats. This desiccant dust provides quick knock-down and residual control of the following pests: ticks, ants, cockroaches, silverfish, bedbugs, fleas, lice, bees and numerous stored product pests. Is also used to protect against entrance of Drywood termites.
PRODUCT NAME: Drione Dust.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Drione is a low odor dust which is white and works as a dessicant on insects. Once on them, Drione cuts away at their exoskeleton and then robs them of vital moisture. This unique formulation will last over a year in treated voids. It is also a safe product to use. In fact, it is labeled to be used on dogs and cats as a flea powder.
TARGET PESTS: Carpenter Bees.
WHERE TO USE IT: In their nests.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This is hard to say. Many times you are treating a nest which is several feet long which would require a lot more material than one which is 6 inches long. Get the larger bulk size if you are treating more than 10 holes. It is a lot stronger, goes a lot further and will get much better coverage.
