Product Description
World renown Two Cherries produces a premium quality hand forged gouge that's popular with cabinetmakers who find the in-cannel gouge a very useful tool for coping and paring cuts. This line of Two Cherries In-Cannel Firmer Gouges features comfortable and sturdy Hornbeam handles shaped in the traditional Continental European style and thick mirror polished blades that are ground with the bevel inside giving an outside cutting edge. Each tool is carefully forged, correctly hardened and tempered, then hardness-tested to guarantee a minimum hardness of Rc 61. The blade on this particular gouge has a width of 20mm (3/4"), a curvature corresponding to Sweep No. 7 and a length of 5 5/8" including the neck. Overall length is 10 7/8". Expertly crafted in Germany by Two Cherries.
